The CEEA and its Board of Governors is actively involved through donation of both time and financial resources to a large number of charitable endeavors in the communities where they live and work. In 2017, the CEEA entered into a Partnership with the Shaw Charity Classic (SCC) which organizes and runs the PGA TOUR Champions Event in Calgary, now in its 5th year of operation.

Through a donation matching agreement with the SCC via this Partnership, the CEEA is able to increase the financial impact of our donations beyond just the monies raised for charity at our events. Since announcing this agreement on May 21, 2017, we are thrilled to report the CEEA has already raised and directed over $35,000 to local children’s charities in the Birdies for Kids program, which has an even greater impact in our community after donation matching. A summary of the charities that benefit from this program can be found by clicking on the link found here: Participating Charity List

At the June 1st kick-off event hosted by Tournament Chairman Clay Riddell and SCC Tournament Staff, we announced several ways that CEEA members can benefit from preferred rates on client entertaining, marketing and sponsorship opportunities, as well as custom made unique experiences for attendees at this year’s SCC Tournament to be held at Calgary’s Canyon Meadows G&CC from August 30 thru September 3, 2017.
